Tomorrow, the 14th of July marks the annual celebration for all French and Francophile enthusiasts, Bastille Day! Bastille Day is what English speaking countries refer to the day as, yet in France it’s better know as\u00a0La F\u00eate Nationale<\/strong> (The National Celebration<\/em>) or \u00a0Le quatorze juillet<\/strong> (the fourteenth of July)<\/em><\/p>\n


\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Bastille Day commemorates\u00a0the first anniversary of the\u00a0storming of the Bastille on 14th of July 1789. If you’re lucky enough to be in France for this celebratory day, you’ll find parades, parties and fireworks abound. Yet if you can’t make the trip, there are sure to be Bastille Day celebrations all over the world.<\/p>\n
